At the end of November the Beavers/Cubs/Scouts and Leaders spent a weekend at Hallowtree, sleeping indoors. They took part in Air rifle shooting, assault course along with crafts and games.

BEAVERS
We are planning to reopen the Beaver Colony in September. If you have a child aged between 6 & 8 years old who is interested in joining, please put their name down by using the email address on this site, or the Contact form on the website. Long Service Award
Scout Leader, Peter Runnacles (left) was presented with his 50 years Long Service award at the Groups AGM, by District Commissioner Alex Price.
Leaders retiring
At the recent AGM, Cub Leader Joan Gibson and Assistant Scout Leader Steve Messer were both presented with a voucher for a well known local restaurant to mark their leaving the Group after 19 years and 30 years service respectfully .
Group Camp
In May the Cubs and Scouts camped together at Hallowtree. Among the activities they took part in was Archery, Crate stacking, backwoods cooking and more.
