Cubs Planting Herbs

Westerfield Cubs help brighten up Westerfield Station by planting herbs for the sensory planter to attract bees, butterflies and insects, led by Station Volunteer, Sandy. During Lockdown, when they were unable to meet, they made bird/bat boxes at home, for their Good Turn Challenge, which will be erected on the station by Greater Anglia.

The Cubs and Scouts will be running some online meetings up to Easter with the hope that from April onwards we may be able to resume some sort of face to face meetings.Continue reading

Covid 19

The Scout Group is currently closed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

DEBEN DISTRICT SCOUT AIR RIFLE COMPETITION

For the second year running we took second place, well done the ‘B’ team – Georgina, Finn & Isaac.

Congratulations also to Ellie from the ‘A’ team who had the best overall individual score of the day (around 50 scouts from different Troops took part).

Carol Service

The Groups annual Carol Service took place on Wednesday 12th at Westerfield Church. It was well attended, filling the church.

A cheque for £150 was presented to the ‘Bumblebees’ Charity.

GROUP FETE

Westerfield Scout Groups annual Fete will be held on Sunday June 24th starting at 2.00pm.
